Why Community Works?
In moments of fear, uncertainty, or crisis, Community Works is here. We are the steady hand, the open door, and the unwavering voice that says: You are not alone. For survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and trafficking, we provide more than shelter—we offer safety, dignity, and a path toward healing. Our trained advocates are available 24/7, in multiple languages, including American Sign Language, to meet you where you are and walk beside you every step of the way.
But our mission doesn’t stop at crisis response. The strength of Community Works ripples throughout Southern Oregon—empowering survivors, educating communities, and building a future where violence has no place. The video you see here features local leaders sharing why this work matters deeply to them—and why it should matter to all of us. Whether you’re here seeking refuge or ready to be part of the solution, we invite you to explore, connect, and stand with us. Call our HELPLINE at 541-779-4357—because change begins when we work together.
